I’m without laptop for now and that’s part of why I’ve been MIA. So I’m making do with my IPAD apps to produce a teaching video on how to create my line weaving pattern I originally called Blooming Lace – later zenned to Blasing.
It’s a little different than the videos I usually produce because I don’t have the same tools available to me. But thanks to some talented coders/designers there are now apps available for 1st generation IPad owners that let us create short demonstrations and then upload them to YouTube.
I’d like to hear from you about whether or not the video is okay. I’m totally open to ideas for creating better videos on devices like IPad. This was my first and I’m not completely comfortable with the application just yet. Hopefully I still did okay for you all.
Here’s the pattern worksheet for you:
Best Wishes from Cindy
P.S. I use the IPad App called, “Explain Everything by MorrisCooke” to create the above video.
Hi Cindy! I literally just found you on YouTube today. I’ve been reading/watching quite a few things about the art of Zentangle over the past couple of days, and I’m feeling a new addiction coming over me! This looks so relaxing and the results always seem to be drastic and impressive! I noticed that you said you used your iPad to create the video tutorial. Did you use a stylus to draw within the app you mentioned? Thanks so much for sharing all this wonderful information. I can’t wait to start combining some different patterns and making some greeting cards!
I just found your blog and am having so much fun watching your videos. I am a newly addicted tangler and just love your work.
Thanks for sharing.!
Thanks for posting the iPad App used to make the video. Simple and clear instruction. Thanks…
You are most welcome. I hope you find it helpful. ~ Cheers, Cindy
Wow, I love that pattern. 🙂
Tricia and Robin, thank you both for your kind thoughts. I do hope you enjoy playing with this pattern. I’d love to see any projects you create using the pattern.
Have lots of doodley fun!
I just love your new Zendoodle, “Blasing,” and all the variations! I need to do this ASAP. Thank You for sharing your creativeness!
Blessings,
RobinJ
Very nice tutorial. You deconstruct this lovely tangle into simple, classic ‘lines’ with nice variations. Thank you.
