Love these stacked patterns!
These are fun and easy to incorporate! I can see using the bell chimes for the holiday season!
@ Bonnie, Judy – thanks for your sweet comments too! π
They’re just GORGEOUS! Now, I get the origin of the “Chimidle” name, but what’s the story behind ” Tuckidle”, please? And, thanks for another wonderful zen doodle to play with!
Hi Susannah, I suppose I should have taken more time to explain things, but on the day I posted these I was short on time. The Chimidle was inspired by a set of chimes I have hanging in my kitchen window. And the Tuckidle was inspired by the shape of a little charm that hangs in the center of each of the chime “bells”. To me it looks sorta’ like a disk tucked inside another disk. So I invented…. Chimidle and Tuckidle. Yeah, yeah – I know my mind goes in such weird directions! π
I’m glad you are liking the patterns. Chimidle has some whimsical opportunities drawn into it, in my humble opinion.

Well, Cindy, I don’t think your turn of creativity is weird at all–I love it! I’ve been following the work of a woman named Quinn Mc Donald, and she quoted a friend of hers, who said, “I create fine art–any art I create is fine with me!” (Lynn Trochelmann), and Ms McDonald herself said, “I create meaning, not perfection.” These were in Ms McDonald’s book, “Raw Art Journaling”. Your work, in many ways, reminds me of hers, and hers reminds me of yours. Why? Because both of you refuse to be put in a box of conventionality. You’re both amazingly and freely creative. Oh, and she, too has a blog, at http://www.quinncreative.com –I think you’d enjoy it a lot.
yahoo…some more fun patterns to play with…wicked imagination π thanx for sharing~~~stay fabulous~~~
OOOH!!! Love them and your finished piece!!!
